Full Job Description
Senior Administrator – Cloud Ops is a position in an IT Delivery Infrastructure Operations entity. He is accountable for IT Delivery for the Vmware Technology being delivered by an application, a set of applications, a shared platform, or an infrastructure service. He is the key point of contact for the SDM , regarding theVmware Technology under his responsibility; he is in direct relation with the SDM and even the customer to Provide Technology Representation

Incident and Crisis Management :
Key contact for the SDM for escalations and crisis management or when SLA are not met, he is responsible for coordinating the “Service Restoration” for Vmware Technology . He should contribute to service restoration actions. He is responsible for handling Escalated Incidents in Vmware Technology and front end for resolving in shortest possible timings . He is responsible to ensure that all Operations Benchmarks are met by Operations Team in VmwareTechnology issues .He is resonsible for ( reduction in Incidents , Repeated Failures ) related with Escalated Incidents.Leading P1 incident & accountable for complete closure.
Problem Management :
Initiates and manages the action plans for Vmware Technology , including follow-up of implementation.He is responsible to drive P1 Incident Reduction Vmware Technology and ensure RCA’s/PIR’s are submitted as Contracted with Customers. Leading the documentation & ensuring 100% Icog updation.
Customer Technical Documents :
Update ICOG’s and SOP portal with the latest documents related with Escalated Incidents . He is responsible in Vmware Technology with respect to Properly updating Knowledge Base Articles and Procedure Documents .
Technology Effectiveness :
Responsible to Identify and Raise Issues in Current Environment with respect to Upgrades /New Releases in coordination with other Teams . He is expected to Drive Initiatives to Standardize Technology Environment resulting in Reduced Complex Incidents . He is expected to Arrange Trainings for L2 team members to bring them up to Speed in resolving Complex Issues in a methodical process .

additional information
Minimum of 6 years related work experience in customer facing organizations within the telecom or IT industry specifically into WindowsVmware Technology. Relevant experience required 5 Years.Strong knowledge on VMware Platform which include ESXi OS,Cluster,Hardware.
5 Years of Remote Infrastruchure Management experience.Knowledge in Cisco-UCS & HP flex 10 is desirable.
Primary Skills :- Strong knowledge on Vmware Platform , VCD, Ansible, Windows. Good knowledge of Azure / AWS cloud technology.
.Secondary Skills : – Knowledge on Storage / Backup Technology.
