Job Title Senior Manager – Corporate Communication

Department Marketing

This role will lead all communication strategy for Otis India, reporting to the Director Sales, Marketing and Communications for India and functionally report to Communications Director for Asia Pacific.

Accountabilities

• Strategic Messaging: Develop and deliver a communication strategy based on business strategy, brand & company values, key organizational initiatives, leadership position of Otis.

• Media relations, Media share of Voice: Build and maintain strong media relationships to sustain Otis leadership in media Share of Voice. Manage 3rd party agency relationships.

• Managing and executing Executive leadership communication messages

• Managing and executing internal communication messages on success stories, new initiatives, key projects, programs etc.

• Work closely with the Crisis committee in managing the Crisis/Issue management

• Branding: support company’s visual and message branding efforts internally and externally by closely following Otis brand guidelines and localizing as needed the brand messaging. This also includes Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and other initiatives to solidify Otis branding and reputation locally and globally.

• Provide services and support to the Sales & Marketing team on Marketing Communications

• Manage communication budget & spend

• Communications function alignment with Regional and World Head Quarters teams.

• EXPERIENCE AND KEY QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate to have a minimum of 6 to 8 plus years of internal and external communications with proven leadership of communications function.

Key experience and qualifications:

• Proven track record in:

• Leading communications function in industrial / engineering company, preferably MNC

• PR relations and successful PR campaigns

• Crisis management

• Leveraging social media

• Marketing communication – product launches, events & exhibitions, brochures, digital sales tools

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Creative, innovative, and proactive with exceptional attention to detail

• Experience in crisis management

• Understanding of compliance and communication process in a global listed company – ‘quiet period’; internal approvals and alignment; crisis communication process; etc.

• High energy person who can build employee engagement through communication function

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
