Packologic Pvt Ltd Hiring for Asst Manager Pricing- Air/Ocean at Pune Full Time

• New Business Development is a major function of this position.
• Manage the end-to-end shipments for a customer from quotation to final delivery
• Negotiate with carriers on Freight Pricing.
• Responsible for building and developing the Freight forwarding, Custom Clearance business.
• Build Database & Action Plan To Achieve Business Plan.
• Apply specialist knowledge of markets and industries to support the sales efforts to new clients, including supporting the Integrated Sales Force and sales presentations.
• Coordinate with shipping lines/ Airlines for space confirmation & booking release based on required vessel /flight schedule & follow up on Free time and vessel cut-off details.
• Organize and coordinate the customs clearance job with the clearance team for both air / sea while providing pre -clearance to ensure smooth delivery of shipments within the timeline set.
• Follow up with the transporter(s) to ensure on time & complete delivery of cleared shipments keeping records of all storage, demurrages, detentions, etc. and follow up with the concerned buyers for settlements and implement preventive actions to avoid customs penalties.
• Capability to handle freight enquiries , quotations and coordination with local and international clients.
• Experience in rate & service negotiations with Shipping lines /airlines and overseas agents.
• Establish shipping company network (close contacts to carriers) Superior economic geographical skills in US.
• Coordinate with Airline / Shipping lines for documents & shipment submission, BL/ AWB draft, forward the file to customs team to process customs declaration, follow up with clients for any customs submission docs (if required).
• Collaborate and assess in serving other logistics operations.
• Perform other duties related to the jobs as assigned by senior management.

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: ₹450,000.00 – ₹650,000.00 per year
