Packt Publishing Hiring For Amazon Optimisation Executive at Remote Full Time

The Role

This is a highly important role in the Amazon & Content Distribution Team.

It is vital that Amazon Optimisation Executive (reporting to the Channel Optimisation Team Leader) follows robust processes to drive product sales and revenue.

The ongoing business goals of this role are to ensure the business achieves its key targets of increased product unit sales, revenue, RPT and LTV driven by Amazon.

Responsibilities

Amazon Title Setup & Optimisation Checks

• Set up preorder titles on Amazon (US and EU territories) using the metadata and cover files provided to you
• Work with your line manager to ensure that products are fully optimised prior to publication by checking each product against a product optimisation checklist and reporting any required changes.
• Once the product is live, conduct live checks again to ensure that everything is in place and displaying correctly on Amazon.
• Raise cases with Amazon (and inform the wider business) when titles aren’t reflecting as expected
• Identify those products that aren’t selling well and identify any optimisation tweaks that can be made to these products to drive sales. Again, report any improvements required to your line manager to ensure they are scheduled in and acted upon by the business. Monitor post implementation sales to identify positive upwards trends in sales.
• For exceptional product performance – highlight where Amazon A+ pages could be created so that copywriters and designers can be briefed.

Amazon Reviews Analysis

• Use the reviews dashboards to constantly monitor the increase in the number of reviews and the star rating of reviews on products.
• Highlight commercially important products without reviews to your line manager so that the review generation programmes can focus on obtaining reviews for these products.
• Report any products that receive negative reviews to your line manager so that responses can be generated where necessary and appropriate actions taken to resolve issues.

Additional Title Enhancement

• Set up Editorial/Foreword Reviews on titles, liaising with the Copywriting & Copyediting Team to ensure these are proofread before upload
• Set up marketing video on titles, liaising with the marketing team and Sales and Distribution manager

Reporting

• Provide reports to illustrate the success of Product Optimisation monitoring and implementation, as and when required by your line manager
• Provide monthly reports on latest publish/preorder titles and ensuring to get all titles completely live
• Logging title issues in a common shared tracker (Publishing team tracker) on a regular basis
• Tracking and monitoring all cases raised with Amazon and ensuring it is resolved in a timely manner

• 1+ years’ experience in data analysis/data research role.
