Role : AVP/VP – Public Policy

Key Result Areas:

– Develop a comprehensive public policy thinking aligned with the company’s business objectives

– Develop deep understanding of regulatory landscape, developments & industry trends impacting the Indian fintech (especially around Credit/ Lending) & hence the company

– Engage & work with key regulatory & industry bodies, government officials, policy makers, etc.

– Represent the company in Industry forums & discussions with regulators, government agencies, Industry bodies; articulating company’s position with a view on the sector

– Monitor regulatory developments in India & internationally, analyze potential impacts on business & provide strategic guidance to internal teams

Job Requirement:

– Masters’/ Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Business Administration, or a related field

– 5+ years of experience in public policy, government affairs, with regulatory bodies or a related field

– Deep understanding of the regulatory & policy landscape in India, particularly related to fintech & banking

– Experience of working with regulators & government agencies is preferred

– Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships & navigate through complex regulatory environments

– Strong problem solving skills & strategic thinking abilities to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
