Your Career
Palo Alto Networks is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Credit Analyst in our Bangalore, India office who is excited to join a high growth Company. The ideal candidate must possess strong critical thinking and communication skills. This role is a key member of the Global Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections team within Palo Alto Networks. This person will be accountable for customer credit reviews for Palo Alto Networks’ external customers.
Your Impact
Credit risk evaluations including financial statement analysis and analysis of data obtained from bank and trade references as well as external reporting agencies (D&B)
Establishes and approves customer credit limits up to authority level
Responsible for credit line review of customer accounts
Partners with Sales & Order Operations to manage customer contract negotiations and onboarding
Identifies high risk customers and makes recommendations on placing customers on credit hold and monitors daily order blocks
Communicates credit hold risk and/or credit hold to the customer and internal stakeholders
Credit risk evaluations including financial statement analysis and analysis of data obtained from bank and trade references
Preparation of monthly/quarterly credit metrics package
Partner cross-functionally with Accounts Receivable, Business Units, Sales, Tax and IT departments to resolve credit/collection matters
Special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis, and other duties as assigned.
Ensure compliance with SOX 404 key controls
Your Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or relative area with 3+ years experience or 6+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree (high tech company experience preferred)
Proficient in use of SAP ERP Credit Management functionality (S4/HANA a plus),HighRadius, Salesforce are a plus
Business acumen that affords you proficiency in business writing and speaking in English; if you know other languages, that would be a plus
Experience with high technology clients in the Hardware, Software and/or SaaS space a plus
Critical thinker with a risk-based approach mindset and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to build relationships across multiple functions and implement new processes
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and execute with accuracy and efficiency
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required
Proficiency in Google Suite a plus

Our Credit & Collections team is a global team with personnel in the US and India. The team responds to external and internal requests daily. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, high level of accuracy, resourceful, organizational and time management skills.
