Paytm Looking For Finance – Accounting Payroll – Junior Manager at Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Full Time

About the team: Finance Team is responsible for allocating resources, creating economic forecasts, reviewing opportunities for equity and debt financing, and other functions within your organization.

About the role: The candidate will work on payroll functions and will ensure payroll is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. He will further be responsible for day-to-day payroll-related activities.

Expectations/ Requirements :

• To work on payroll transactions including payroll processing, reimbursement and full and final settlements, deduction of Income Tax, Provident Fund, Pension, ESI, Professional Tax, LWF and other deductions
• Will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and salary revisions
• Will prepare payroll accounting entries and provisions against liabilities and update in SAP
• To prepare and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions
• Ensures statutory compliances and filing TDS returns, issuing of Form 16 etc
• Ensures full and final settlements to be completed within SLA
• Provides payroll information report for salary and cost variances to management
• Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to internal and external auditors
• Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, andprocedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role :

Minimum Of Five Years Of Relevant Experience Required.

Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, processing,

internal control, and payroll taxes.

 Extensive knowledge of payroll accounting and provisions.

 Proficient in working on huge database in excel.

 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

 Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
