You will lead a regional organization of engineering professionals to meet our strategic cloud-based technology objectives. This is a significant high-profile leadership position and a tremendous opportunity to head a robust organization in a fast-growing, industry leading technology company.

What You’ll Do at Pega:

• Manage overall TSO Engineering for India while specializing in and providing direct leadership to one of the TSO functional areas:
  • Global Client Support: Ensure the highest standard of Client Support.
  • Service Reliability: Meet Cloud SLA’s for Uptime by continuously moving from proactive to preemptive cloud services.
  • Cloud Engineering: Oversee and direct engineering development on the latest technology. Manage multiple workstreams across APAC Cloud engineering teams. Identify possible opportunities inherent to the technology and future market changes. Oversee development and implementation of critical technology components.
  • Security Engineering: Direct the Security Engineering resources to deliver the highest level of Security process and technology
• Mentor and Direct the Pega India TSO organization
• Mentor and direct the India leadership to achieve all Pega initiatives and goals.
• Enable all staff to provide feedback to continuously improve on our ability to deliver and support Pega Services.
• Identify, hire, grow and retain the levels of talent we need to meet our strategic technology objectives
• Maintain an expert leadership team of problem solvers, with the insight, experience, and capability to execute a shared vision of success, as well as translate this vision throughout the greater organization to motivate and educate teams
• Model Pega’s Success Behaviors and values across the organization to establish a culture that drives our client-focused service mentality
• Provide clear, frequent, and actionable feedback to leaders and the organization on their work performance; drive accountability and understanding of how each individual contributes to the overall company goals
• Initiate and lead formal and informal reviews of ideas and technical objectives – promote ideas and practices which drive innovation

Who You Are:

A seasoned expert technologist, with significant experience leading complex Engineering teams in a fast paced market driven cloud-based technology firm

What You’ve Accomplished:

• BA/BS Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, with 15+ years in a technology leadership/management role managing direct reports, ideally managers of managers; success building, mentoring/coaching and growing a team
• An expert understanding of relevant technologies, industry domain expertise, and business needs to succeed in leading the team to deliver on committed strategic and tactical goals
• Proven experience leading an enterprise scale Cloud Site Reliability, Cloud Engineering, Security Engineering and/or Client Support organization.
• Demonstrable success in leading significant engineering operations that delivered innovative and successful as a service technology products
• An authority in one or more relevant technologies such as: Java Internals, Database Internals, Web Technologies, Cloud Computing, Large Scale Systems Design and Engineering, Mobile, Big Data and Analytics
• Experience driving successful change within a high growth international cloud-based services enterprise
