Key Responsibilities:

Strategic

• Responsible for delivering the engineering vision as set by HOD – Engineering Systems.
• Provides strategic support and input into the overall engineering vision and development plan.
• Manage the process of Change management with respect to SPF.
• Responsible for SPF application and their interfaces with other applications.
• Responsible for keeping up to data knowledge in SPF development, latest software version releases and rolling out improvements.
• Responsible for SPF integration with other engineering systems and non-engineering systems as required as part of the development.
• Support for developing and maintaining detailed work processes for SPF.
• Support for rolling out new developments and implementing change management at the appropriate level.
• Responsible for ensuring that overall development does not impact adversely on the IT infrastructure.
• Develop project specific customized workflows in SPF and maintain it.
• Develop adapters for in house Applications and project specific with SPF
• Develop a document management system on SPF
• Providing training plans and providing training for SPF.
• Developing and supporting project specific automation requirement which are received from discipline.
• Monitoring of software license utilization and optimizing the license requirement.

Operational

• Responsible for reviewing and maintaining consistency of SPF across engineering operational centers.
• Responsible for SPF setup , configuration and customization of project listed as below.
• Identify project deliverables and setup the seed file given to VEC.
• Project hierarchy creation (if applicable)
• Define Naming Convention(if applicable)
• Access rights Management
• Database Maintenance running daily and weekly cleanup activities
• Monitoring if daily backups are taking place
• Customize Reports (if applicable)
• Retrieval of external data
• Plant Breakdown Structure
• Security Model
• Schema Configuration
• Admin Configuration
• Modeling and Mapping
• CDW Modeling and Mapping
• Excel Import:
• Configuring Reports
• Issuing all SPF deliverables to respective disciplines for review and submission.
• Petrofac Work Packs

Essential Skills:

Bachelor of Engineering Degree, in Mechanical/Civil/Instrumentation/Electrical, having worked in the oil
and gas industry for more than 15 years with relevant experience in multidisciplinary coordination role and responsibility for delivering SPF with project execution and development experience in an Engineering environment.
