1. Pharmacist (24-Hour Shift)

Job Summary:
The 24-hour shift pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations while providing round-the-clock pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately as per prescriptions.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and order necessary stock.
• Counsel patients on dosage, drug interactions, and side effects.
• Monitor medication expiration and ensure quality control.
• Adhere to legal and ethical pharmacy standards.
• Provide emergency pharmaceutical support as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree: Diploma/Bachelor’s in Pharmacy (D.Pharm/B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
• License: Must be a registered pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council.
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in a hospital or retail pharmacy.
• Skills: Attention to detail, knowledge of drug interactions, and strong communication skills.

2. Pharmacist (12-Hour Shift – Day/Night)

Job Summary:
The 12-hour shift pharmacist works in either a day shift (morning to evening) or night shift (evening to morning), ensuring continuous pharmacy operations and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and verify prescriptions efficiently.
• Educate patients about medication usage and precautions.
• Maintain records of prescriptions and controlled substances.
• Coordinate with doctors and nurses regarding patient medications.
• Monitor and manage drug inventory, preventing shortages.
• Ensure pharmacy hygiene and compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree: Diploma/Bachelor’s in Pharmacy (D.Pharm/B.Pharm).
• License: Registered with the Pharmacy Council.
• Experience: 1-2 years in a clinical or retail pharmacy setting.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellent interpersonal skills.
