Manage and drive sales & marketing of HVAC business of adhesives & coatings through regional HVAC Sales & specifications teams. The role holder shall also implement strategic initiatives to drive growth of the business which includes development of innovative products, marketing initiatives, BTL engagements with HVAC influencers (including consultants and HVAC contractors), manage the channel partner network to service customers and participation in important HVAC industry bodies.
Strategic Initiatives – Define & implement Major Initiatives for HVAC business in consultation and guidance from CBO. Review Major Initiative milestones and outcomes on a periodic basis.
Sales & Business Development
Drive the sales performance to achieve annual business plan in collaboration with LUB Regional managers by implementing defined ways of working to generate demand from key accounts, large projects and channel partners.
Implement pricing and commercial policies. Review and manage changes in the same periodically.
Ensure to that self and team engage with top consultants to create specifications for PIL HVAC products.
Marketing
Rigorously drive execution of BTL plan influencing each type of key stakeholders
Monitor competition offerings, pricing and other activities; course-correct strategy as required to win against competition.
Regularly collect feedback from stakeholders and distil insights by market segments to enable tactical and strategic actions.
Represent PIL in key Industry forums and exhibitions of HVAC industry.
Designing marketing Collaterals for the vertical such as Brochures, Leaflets, Props”
Product Management
Basis market insights, initiate new product developments in collaboration with technical services and R&D teams
Manage product specifications such as design, colour, packaging etc. in co-ordination with relevant functions.
Ensure resolution of customer/user complaints on products through technical services team.
People management
Manage sales & BD performance of field sales teams.
Assist RM in timely recruitment and retention of people of right quality at all levels.
Facilitate product & sales training and skill development of field teams.
Basic Qualifications
B.E. Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Engineering
8+ years of experience in the HVAC industry
