PipeCandy Hiring for Data QA at Chennai Full Time

About the Role:

This role is part of our web data research team. The Data QA analyst is a key resource who is responsible for ensuring the quality of data and related information acquired by the data research analysts.

The Data QA Analyst works closely with the data research team lead, the customer experience team, and the data science team and determines data quality checks that need to be implemented in order to deliver data to the various stakeholders as per expected quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the data and each attribute in PipeCandy’s product, which is primarily, though not exclusively, company-related information
• Understand the data quality checks necessary to ensure high levels of data accuracy in the product. Ensure comprehensive checking of all output, validating accuracy of source data acquisition as well as checking using business logic
• Check the quality of data output from data research analysts as per the determined SLAs
• Communicate any data quality-related issues to the research analysts and to the relevant stakeholders proactively
• Work with the research team lead to train/ guide the research analysts to improve data quality as required
• Support the team in data preparation and data formatting as required

Techno-Functional Expertise Required:

• Excellent data processing skills, data preparation skills, and attention to detail
• Knowledge and experience of data acquisition from web sources
• Knowledge of MS Excel/Spreadsheet functions and their use in speeding up data quality checks and data preparation
• Other technical knowledge such as SQL or other tools is a plus

Skills Required:

• 3-5 years of experience in a QA role
• Excellent communication and ability to work with varied teams
