As a Senior M365 Engineering Architect, you will be part of the End User Computing engineering team that designs and develops applications within the Pitney Bowes M365 Tenant. You will be deeply involved in architecting and engineering M365 services including collaborating across the organization with engineers, end user support and product managers. You will use your expertise in building, deploying, maintaining, supporting Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Pro Plus and Azure. The Job

• Provide technical and operational subject matter expertise of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure with emphasis in security (Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) policies for Exchange, Azure AD Identity Protection, MFA, and Conditional Access
• Architect and engineer Microsoft 365 Groups, Teams, providing deep technical knowledge on various Teams architecture elements deployed
• Provide leadership to the team in supporting the development and execution of Microsoft 365 roadmaps and service strategy, including Governance, Licensing, and Policy
• Provide hands on technical support for the design, construction, configuration, and maintenance of all facets of a Microsoft 365 Tenant
• Establish and maintain Microsoft 365 Exchange mailboxes, user accounts, distribution groups and providing input on enterprise exchange policies and procedures
• Develop concise and accurate engineering documentation including design plans, implementation guides, knowledge guides, monitoring, and standard operating procedures
• Be agile and embrace change
• Support mission critical, 24×7 systems; available for shift and weekend tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Skills required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and established technologist with 8+ years of related experience
• 8 – 10+ years of experience with Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, PowerShell use in Production environment, SharePoint/O365 administrator experience (Either SharePoint or 365)
• Microsoft 365 Certified, Azure Fundamentals Certified, Network+, Security+, MCSA, MCSE (any one of these)
• Significant experience with M365 strategies/roadmaps and ability to work with diverse teams to plan and develop enterprise architecture for M365 and supporting components
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online/Server and core elements: Active Directory, High Availability and Disaster Recovery Configurations, Mail Flow and Connectors, Outlook client configuration, PowerShell, ATP, SMTP, SSL/TLS
• Extensive experience and skill in the use of PowerShell to report on, manage and automate Microsoft 365 services
• Expert knowledge of the M365/SharePoint environment including applications, features, configuration, integration, and problem resolution
• Expert knowledge on implementing M365 governance policies and practices
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and distributed product teams in an agile environment
• Ability to adapt to conflicting priorities
