Position Overview

The EPC Regional Business Head will be responsible for business development and project management across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. The role includes driving private and PSU business, analyzing new tenders, managing existing clients, overseeing ongoing and upcoming projects, and ensuring efficient budget management.

Broad Responsibilities

Business Development & Tender Management

• Identify and assess new tenders in the power transmission and distribution sector.
• Evaluate technical and commercial feasibility of tenders for private and PSU projects.
• Develop strategic bidding approaches to enhance tender success.
• Build relationships with PSUs, private clients, and government agencies.

Project Management & Execution

• Oversee ongoing and upcoming EPC projects in the assigned regions.
• Ensure timely project execution, cost control, and quality management.
• Resolve project bottlenecks and manage risks proactively.
• Coordinate with site teams, procurement, and engineering divisions.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing PSU and private clients.
• Attend customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regional business discussions.

Budget & Financial Management

• Develop and manage project budgets while ensuring cost efficiency.
• Track project financials, invoicing, and cash flow.
• Ensure timely collections and mitigate payment risks.

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead and mentor business development managers, project engineers, and site managers.
• Foster a performance-driven and customer-focused work culture.
• Align regional team goals with the organization’s EPC business strategy.

Experience & Industry Preference

• 15-20 years of experience in EPC business development and project management.
• Strong experience in the power transmission and distribution sector
• Preference for candidates from L&T, KEC, Finolex, or similar EPC firms.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of power distribution, substations, and transmission projects.
• Expertise in tendering, contract negotiation, and project execution.
• Strong relationship management skills with government and private clients.
• Financial acumen for budgeting and cost control.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
