Role Summary:

This role is responsible for driving the development and execution of Porsche’s e-performance initiatives in India. The individual will be tasked with shaping and building a robust ecosystem to support the growth of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), ensuring seamless integration across various touchpoints. A key focus will be on creating a compelling market approach for BEVs that enhances customer confidence, excitement, and long-term engagement with Porsche’s electric vehicle offerings.

Authority:

• Lead the creation and expansion of an ecosystem that supports the entire lifecycle of Porsche BEV ownership, from infrastructure to aftersales services, ensuring alignment with the brand’s vision for electric mobility.
• Collaborate with internal teams, government bodies, and external stakeholders to establish partnerships that accelerate the adoption of BEVs and improve charging infrastructure availability.
• Shape customer engagement initiatives that elevate the perception of Porsche BEVs, ensuring a premium ownership experience that aligns with the brand’s reputation for performance and luxury.
• Anticipate market trends and customer needs to drive the adoption of BEVs, leveraging data and insights to refine product offerings, services, and customer support systems.
• Champion Porsche’s position as a leader in electric mobility by driving innovation, creating future-proof solutions, and ensuring a seamless transition to electric vehicles for customers in India.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

Electrification Initiatives:

• Generate and refine innovative business concepts related to the BEV ecosystem, focusing on comprehensive charging solutions for customers.
• Cultivate partnerships and engage in discussions with luxury destination venues, dealers, utility companies, and charging providers to forge valuable collaborations.
• Drive the development of a robust BEV ecosystem encompassing High-Performance Charging (HPC), solar charging, and the utilization of end-of-life batteries for second-life charging solutions.
• Collaborate with Porsche Middle East and external stakeholders to align on business plans that reflect Porsche’s global vision and objectives.
• Oversee cross-functional projects to ensure timely execution of key milestones associated with BEV launches.
• Partner with dealers to develop a sustainable business case for BEVs, ensuring long-term profitability.
• Explore and implement innovative ideas and business concepts related to ‘E Performance’ services.
• Facilitate business meetings to finalize supplier agreements for customer and dealer charging solutions.
• Monitor and analyze financial expenditures related to BEV projects, providing comprehensive status reports.

Research / Analysis:

• Conduct market research and customer clinics to gather insights relevant to BEVs and the broader ecosystem.
• Develop a Market Analysis Tool with contributions from internal stakeholders to capture customer feedback and information on a regular basis.

Market Analysis:

• Track, report, and analyze competitor activities to inform decision-making.
• Identify market opportunities in services and products, leveraging competitive intelligence for actionable insights.
• Engage in services mapping, industry extrapolation, and forecasting to support business objectives.
• Represent Porsche India at local events and fairs, showcasing specific product knowledge to enhance brand visibility.
