As an IT Applications Administrator, you will provide basic support for enterprise applications as well as maintain a stable systems environment with minimal downtime and maximum performance.

Summarized Purpose:
Provides basic implementation, operational and maintenance support for enterprise applications. Maintains a stable systems environment with minimal downtime and maximum performance. For the Labs this also includes support for analytical software and associated dedicated hardware as well as administrative support for server based laboratory applications.
Essential Functions:
Manage SAS Application/Admin activities.
SAS support knowledge , compiling of macros as well as debug SAS log.
Understand the licensing, planning of the solution and different SAS solutions.
Aware of checking the SAS Logs (like Metadata server, WebServer/Application Logs)
Troubleshooting issues on clients like SAS EG, SAS Studio, Scheduler etc.
Work together with the application end users, study team leads and SMEs and the infrastructure team to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
Good understanding of IT infrastructure.
Establish best practices and guidelines for use of the SAS platform.
Evaluate performance and recommend / implement measures to improve performance of the SAS environment.
Job Qualification
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong oral speaking and written communication skills
Good understanding of system development life cycle
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills
Adapt at working in a collaborative and cross-functional global environment
Capable of understanding system user perspectives
Capable of adapting to changing priorities and working as a member of a cross-functional team
Nice to have:-
