Praxis Consultants Hiring for Engineer Design and Development-Material Handling at Bengaluru, Karnataka Full Time

Role Description:
You will be part of Mechanical Engineering team of Quick Interchange Stations group. You will be responsible for design & development of Mechanical system / product design with concept to Product launch and integration with different sub systems. You will also be responsible for designing the solution based on various principle for ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency etc.

Core Responsibilities:

• Create multiple /Alternate concepts of components and product.
• Handle assigned projects, components & big assemblies with ownership & end to end responsibility.
• Knowledge of Plastics & Sheet Metal component designs. Design of Battery /or EV charging systems is added advantage.
• Should be experienced & knowledge of problem-solving techniques, root cause analysis and provide solutions where required.
• Develop and maintain mechanical parts and assemblies includes design with good knowledge of 3D modeling and 2D detailed layouts using CAD software like, Creo etc.
• Experience on Creo software for 3D modeling and detailing is mandatory.
• Must have experience working on parts / assemblies, concept prototyping to Launch with all cross functions like, manufacturing, procurement, supply Chain, quality etc.
• should handle all design activities like, mockups, validation and verification testing etc.
• Should be experienced to create and handle documents relate to processes like, dFMEA, DVP, DFA, DFM, prototyping etc.
• Knowledge and experience of GD & T and hand on Tolerance stack UP.

Ideal Candidate (Experience, Qualification, Previous Work-ex, Companies etc.)

Bachelor of Engineering /or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering /Automobile Engineering with 2-5 years of work experience in the industry. Minimum of 1 year in Material Handling domain.
