Senior Service Manager, India Region (based in Gurgaon, India)

We are looking for “Senior Service Manager, India Region” for Valmet business to be based in Gurgaon, India. This position reports to “Director, India Region”.
In this position, you will be,
Responsible for managing a Service business unit in respect of after-sales service to all customers.
Work as a team with colleagues in Sales and Services to propose value added services and solutions to existing and new potential customers. Propose plans to improve service performance, through reviews of current performance and recommendations for improvements Oversees and provides operational framework as well as guidance based on service strategy. Accountable for budget and policy recommendations and implementation. Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of service employees to ensure performance against the agreed service standards. Negotiate with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization. Prepare service sales forecasts and budgets; monitor Service sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures to improve the overall performance. Contribute to the development of sales, customer retention, pricing, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility through provision of market intelligence and customer information, and by understanding market trends. May coach sales and/or service sales representatives on the operational aspects of the organization’s products and services and internal procedures; on sales promotions; and on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets.
To succeed this role, you will need:
Strong networking in the Industry with the key decision makers. Important member in Pulp & Paper Association Strong Techno-commercial credibility in the industry. Hands on experience of Pulp, Recovery, Paper/board making and Finishing. Budgeting & Costing Graduate Engineering from leading institute Works independently to complete given assignments and projects, promoting and selling the organization’s products and services. Significant negotiation is required and it is critical to be able identify and follow-up on prospective customers. Guides and influences others within own area of expertise. Geographical scope: national/regional Typical minimum relevant experience required: 10-15 years Self motivated and team player Open for Travel
