Role Overview

We’re seeking Estimation and Administration Executives to play a pivotal role in our expanding operation in India.

Your core responsibilities will include precise estimation of laminate and stone benchtops based on a combination of AutoCAD and hand-drawn plans. In addition to estimation, your responsibilities will also include reporting and administration duties within the team.

This role calls for meticulous attention to detail, analytical acumen, and effective organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a dynamic team to accurately estimate benchtops using both AutoCAD and hand-drawn plans.
• Utilize your analytical skills to assess project requirements and provide precise estimations.
• Manage orders and job processes through our online system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Interpret and understand building and construction plans through both AutoCAD and hand-drawn drawings, resolving any discrepancies.
• Assume reporting and administration duties, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• Effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure streamlined processes.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective interactions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cost estimation or a related field, highlighting your meticulous approach to estimation and accuracy.
• Proficiency in interpreting AutoCAD and hand-drawn plans, showcasing your ability to translate specifications into accurate estimations.
• Exceptional analytical skills that enable you to evaluate intricate details and provide accurate estimations.
• Strong organisational abilities to manage time and work through multiple tasks efficiently.
• A solution-oriented mindset to identify and address inconsistencies and gaps in the estimation process.
• Collaborative spirit, allowing you to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Technical acumen and proficiency in relevant technology and software tools.
• Experience in reporting and administration tasks will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills (Highly Regarded)

Although not essential, the following skills will be highly regarded:

• Knowledge of benchtop estimation methods.
• Basic understanding of benchtops, interior cabinetry and design principles.
