Job Description:
Looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator for implementing and supporting a diverse set of technologies for the company. This role performs systems integration and support of Windows & Linux Servers, Virtualization, Storage Area Networks, and Cloud Computing. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
Roles & Responsibilities:Implement and support secure, trusted systems to ensure appropriate confidentiality and privacy of sensitive data.Responsible for the deployment and maintenance of Windows (on-premise) servers—both dedicated hardware and virtual servers.Responsible for the deployment and maintenance of Microsoft Windows Server & Azure Active Directory, Exchange, and O365.Security and application patching of systems.Maintain and monitor the backup and disaster recovery solutions of systems.Document standard operating, network configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.Help maintain level 2/3 IT ticket queue and knowledgebase.Work with vendors, consultants, contractors, and IT personnel from other 3rd party companies.Maintain network, switches, and firewalls.Other duties as assigned.Handling and mentoring team and leading team in the right direction.Configure Roles in the Server (WSUS, AD DS, DNS, Terminal Server, etc.).Creating and Managing Active Directory.Adding User Machines to Domain and Provide Required Access.Password Reset for the Users Added to the Domain.Updating Windows Machines Patches from WSUS.Troubleshooting Server Related Hardware Issues.Experience in Group Policy.Experienced in any Firewall.Experienced in windows serverTechnical Skills:Virtualization (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware etc.)Servers (e.g., Microsoft Windows, MS SQL, Linux Server, etc.)Networking (e.g., Fortigate firewalls, switching, routing, vLANs, etc.)Cloud (e.g., Microsoft O365, Azure, AWS, etc.) (optional)Endpoint Protection (e.g., Sophos, Windows Defender, etc.)Vulnerability Management and Incident ResponseActive DirectoryGroup PolicyFirewallCompetencies:2+ years of hardware/software configuration/troubleshooting experience.2+ years of Windows Server, Group Policy and Active Directory administration experience.Strong oral/written communication.Ability to multitask and prioritizeStrong analytical and interpersonal skillsSelf-Starter, proactive, forward thinkerAn insatiable curiosity for science, technology, and an understanding of how things workAbility to work effectively with members and employees at all levels in the organizationMinimum 1 year of experience in FirewallMinimum 1 year of experience in NetworkingImmediate joiner is preferable
