Progenesis India Hiring for Senior Bioinformatician at Delhi Full Time
Job Description
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related field.
– Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Python programming, Bash scripting & R.
– Experience with pipeline orchestration tools such as Nextflow or Snakemake is a bonus.
– Ability to read, interpret, and curate scientific literature.
– Prior working experience with reproductive genetics research is a plus.
– Familiarity with next-generation sequencing data and open-source bioinformatics tools.
– Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub.
– Experience with Linux/UNIX/Mac OS based systems.
– Experience with high-performance Linux clusters and cloud computing (AWS preferred).
Key Responsibilities:
– Analyze and interpret high-throughput sequencing and other genomic data.
– Develop and maintain bioinformatics pipelines and tools using Python and other relevant languages.
– Perform statistical analysis and data visualization to derive meaningful insights from large datasets.
– Document and present research findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in bioinformatics and reproductive health research.
