Job Description

Brief on the Organization: The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is working towards building a healthier India. It is helping to address the limited institutional and systems capacity in India by strengthening education and training, advancing research and technology and facilitating policy and practice in the area of Public Health. PHFI is headquartered in New Delhi with national presence through its constituent units of regional Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) and Centers of Applied Research in core public health themes. The Foundation, established in 2006 as a public private initiative, is governed by an independent board comprising of senior government officials, eminent Indian and International academic and leaders, civil society representatives and corporate leaders.

Project Brief:
Cardiology Short Courses Masterclass Series is an online program on selected topics related to cardiovascular diseases (ECG and Heart Failure) with an aims to train primary care physicians from across the country. The course will be delivered in the form of online live webinars, pre recorded sessions and reading materials. The following objectives are envisioned for the course: To enhance the knowledge and core competencies of physicians to interpret ECGs with case based learning and in prevention and management of Heart Failure; To develop/update a standard teaching protocol and modules for evidence-based learning on ECG and Heart Failure; To update the physicians with the latest advancements. It is supported by Sun Pharma Laboratories Ltd. This is the first cycle of the program and aims to train over 1000 primary care physicians. Cycle I is going to launch in June 2022 with 5 experts and 12 faculty.
Deliverables:

• Create visual stories / designs for usage on website, mobile apps, social media channels, banners, pamphlets, books etc. content to be varied like educational, advocacy etc.
• Create explainer videos, basic videos, edit existing videos for use on social media channels, website and mobile apps.
• Work on Adobe creative suite, Microsoft office or any other related creative software’s.
• Organize, conduct and document, filed level Pilot testing of mobile application.
• Any other designing or creative work for projects under Centre for Digital Health.
• Weekly documentation is required.
• Assist in drafting report on the project.
• Coordinate with external vendors and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the project IT personnel and project team
• Assist the project team with graphic designing, motion videos, video editing and visual content creation and designing activities.
• Travel as and when required.
• Any other task as assigned by Supervisor/PI.

Qualification:
Desirable:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/BCA or in any relevant field.
• Master’s degree in computer science/ MBA will be an advantage.
• Certificate in graphic design, animation, film postproduction.
• Clear & thorough understanding of typography, composition, and layout principles.
• Proper attention to details and style consistency.
• Microsoft Office experience with PowerPoint, Word, Google Docs and Slides.
• Software knowledge – CorelDraw, Adobe suite or related software’s.

Experience:

• Around 2 to 3 years of successful professional design experience.
• Portfolio of various projects.
• Experience in working previous projects.
• Versatility in design work.
• Strong typographical, conceptual and design skills is required.
• Knowledge of making isometric images & animated videos.
• Strong illustrative skills including development of icons and infographics is required.
• Problem-solving capabilities and out of the box creative thinking.
• Good communication Skills.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Basic Understanding of Project Management.
• Experience in documentation.
