Pubmatic Hiring for Software Engineer – iOS Developer at Pune, India Full Time

We are looking for an iOS developer having 1-3 years of experience. The primary focus will be to design, develop and ship the Ads SDK for monetizing iOS applications. The SDKs are designed to be the conduit for app developers to integrate with our highly scaled backend systems and control all aspects of the app’s requests and responses to the backend. In addition, the SDK is responsible for rendering and measurement integration for various ad formats that are presented in the app. _Responsibilities_ * Implement commercial-grade software, using the company standards for coding style and unit testing coverage as the backdrop for your work product. * Design and build new features for PubMatic’s Ads SDK & demonstrative applications for the iOS platform & ensure the performance, quality of each feature. * Provide helpful and productive code reviews for peers of the team. Productive code reviews are ones where the recipient is helped by your feedback and can act upon your feedback, not just picking out errors or design flaws. * Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features. * Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. * Help in maintaining code quality, organization, and automatization as standards. * Participate in the customer support process by analyzing the bug reported on the SDK and providing the best possible and stable solution for the same and ensure the fix should not cause any reverse impact on SDK features. _Skills / Qualifications__ _ * Minimum 1-3 years of experience in iOS developing. * Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and programming languages. * Proficient with Objective-C and Swift, and Cocoa Touch. * Knowledge of an AGILE development. You will have to be able to estimate well and update stories with accurate documentation. * Experience with iOS frameworks such as Webkit, Core Animation, Core audio etc. * Experience with memory management, multi-threading, and performance tuning. * Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS clients to back-end services. * Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards. * Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines. * Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred. * Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools such as Instruments. * Knack for benchmarking and optimization. * Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git. * Familiarity with continuous integration like Jenkins, Static code analyzers etc. #LI-MD1 Coronavirus notice: PubMatic is actively working to ensure candidate and employee safety.
