Pune Polymers Hiring for Sr. Engineer – Mould Design at Bhosari, Pune, Maharashtra Full Time

Job Responsibilities :
To provide technical as well as managerial leadership to Design & Development function for developing and designing Injection molds which are technically superior in performance, Cost effective, easy to Manufacture and acceptable to the customers.

Develop, lead and execute design & development Strategies at Accurate.

Develop Mold Designs with First Time Right commitment.

Design & Develop desired number of Injection Molds with in the specified time frame.

Formulate and deploy systems and processes for bringing continuous improvement in mold design and enhance productivity.

Ensure annual budget for Manpower and other resources for Design Department. Focus on developing product design capabilities and support R&D Projects

Ensure all confidentiality of our Designs and meet QMS requirements/statutory compliance.

Communicate with BD & Projects Managements Departments for inputs from the customer for Mold Design.

Help the team members in understanding business objectives, periodically monitor the progress of Design work undertaken by designers and guide them for better output.

Plan and schedule designing of each mold on receiving Work Order and assign to each designer giving target dates for design release.

Ensure that designers prepare BOM (Bill of Materials), HRS Design, Design of Inserts, in- house parts, Mold Base as per schedule.

Finalize Details on Layout, Concept, Size, Material, Cooling System, Ejection system, hot runner system etc.

Guide CFT to bring about design solutions for addressing customer complaints using DFMEA. Conduct Design interface to finalize design concepts with concerned Departments.

Participate in After Trial Meetings and other CFT Meetings. Conduct Mold Design reviews with Customers/ Converters for approvals, Clarifications and modifications in the design process.

Visualize and compute dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of assemblies, based on specifications requirements.

Updating the 3D designs for minor modifications capable to make modification without designs by reverse Engineering

Interact with manufacturing department and ensure timely schedule & dimensional quality
