• Lead the discovery process to uncover consumer, customer, competitive and cultural insights
• Arrive at a strategic direction after comprehensive analysis of all information in great detail, including demographics, socio-economics and the market for the brand’s product and market share Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Stay on point with research and data mining, to understand the consumer and market dynamics in any market.

Requirements:

• 4 years + of digital account planning experience
• Strong understanding of brands and the role of digital in the wider media landscape.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a deadline-driven process.
• Drive effectiveness for brands by raising the level of strategic inputs & by defining KPIs Skilled in working with data and analytics tools to create actionable insights (Google Analytics, social listening tools, etc.)
• Ability to conduct and interpret primary and secondary research and use this data to glean insights, developing user personas, customer journeys and communications plans
• Build strategies based on insight derived from an in-depth understanding of the brand, consumers’ feelings, attitudes and behaviours, and cultural trends, while assessing situations and identifying opportunities Make suggestions to determine the most effective platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram etc.) that allows the brand to convey messages to target audiences.
• Recommend improvements to increase performance Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement
• Manage a budget for social media activities
• Use storytelling skills to craft engaging campaigns highlighting the story and benefits visual thinking, storytelling, insightful brand analysis
• Develop positioning recommendations, guide market research analysis, and define core brand elements + tone.
