Job Description & Summary
A career in Risk Management, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to advance and foster integrity based decision making and conduct by PwC professionals throughout our organisation. You’ll focus on promoting and monitoring compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures to help manage PwC’s regulatory, litigation, and reputational risk.
Our Independence Compliance team provides guidance on all areas of PwC’s independence policy and the regulatory environment. As part of the team, you’ll provide updates on Independence and regulatory rules and will evaluate new client opportunities based on PwC’s compliance policies and procedures.

Job Overview
Ability to closely monitor compliance with policies and procedures
Ability to identify risks in ensuring appropriate responses considering impact at an organizational level.
Ability to handle complex technical matters and take timely action foreseeing issues
Close monitoring of annual independence plan and risk assessment.
Ensure compliance with QMSE/ERM requirements and be able to handle all internal and external reviews.
stakeholder management including providing regular update to PRI Delegate and Leadership
Job Description
We are looking for an extremely self-motivated individual who would be eager to join the Independence Office.
The following would be his/her key job responsibilities
Ability to perform quality review of all monitoring processes
effective communication with stakeholders.
Coordination with team. Should assist team members in completion of complex/defined tasks including all documentation standards
Able to identify risks and situations before they become crisis and ensure process gaps if any, are addressed timely.
Should give regular update on IO matters to the Independence Leader and PRI.
Able to handle internal and external reviews including GAQI
coaching and guiding them team members
Should be able to demonstrate creative thinking, application of mind, solution based approach.
Able to take decisions and be solution oriented
Have technical acumen
Able to give independence related trainings
Demonstrate ability of a team leader through relationship building
Should have the ability to work effectively under pressure without compromising on professional standards or quality of the work.
Consistently demonstrate teamwork dynamics by working as a team member :understand personal and team roles , contribute to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members, proactively seeking guidance , clarification and feedback
Adhere to organisational policies and procedures
Participate in training and other developmental opportunities
The individual should have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
Requirements
Preferably an MBA/Chartered Accountant
Should have more than 8 years’ experience
Understanding processes and audit concepts
Strong application and presence of mind
Should have experience in project management
Should have strong technical acumen, attention to details, analytical skills
Confidence
Clarity in thought and application of mind
Should take ownership
Able to take decisions
Inclination and interest in compliance related matters
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including excel knowledge)
Team player, dynamic, committed to providing high quality, responsibility and maintaining timeliness
Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal English
Demonstrate self- motivation and desire to take responsibility for personal growth and development of team
