Job Responsibilities:

• Duties will include the development of new products and options and the maintenance of the standard designs and record books.

• Create Project Specific BLOCK BOM from Standard BOM.

• Work with 3D and 2D CAD designers to create design layouts and associated assembly and fabrication drawings and bill of material. Drawings development include mechanical general arrangements, base/enclosure, engine mount drawings, and FMI (Field Modification Instruction) development.

• ECO (Engineering Change Order) with drawing object creation to kick-off revisions or one that follow to update any redlines required to be submitted to CAD. Thereafter review the updates made and ensure any additional impacts are captured on related documents/drawings prior to cycling them to document quality. Ensure documents/drawings are fully released in PLM and published into documented by receiving validation from DC.

• Work on system design associated with gas turbine package and associated codes and standards.

• Support in preparing Proposal drawings and documentations.

• Responsibility includes providing solutions for Non Conformance, Supplier Deviations, Field Issues.

• Support Production when technical issues arise

Technical Skills:

Required:

• Experience in Plant accessories /Balance of Plant engineering for Combined Cycle or Single cycle power plants.

• Experience in Technical bid, Proposal preparation, Project specific drawings and documentation.

• Knowledge of Gas Turbines / Steam Turbines / Generators accessories

• Knowledge of Accessories systems such as Fuel systems, Water wash systems, Lubrication systems etc.

• Experience in reading and developing Schematics (P&IDs), Skids, Piping /Tubing, General Arrangements, Structural drawings, and Specifications.

• Experience in pumps, control valves, water chemistry, sampling & dosing, generator accessories.

• Experience in Piping design, pipe selection, pipe sizing, pressure drop calculations etc.(ANSI/ASME/ISO)

• Experience in working with Fabrication of sheet metal components with knowledge of welding standards like AWS.

• Good knowledge of GD&T, Manufacturing / Assembly requirements.

• Experience in driving design reviews for new product development with Cross Functional teams.

• Knowledge of Engineering Change Management process (ECR/ECO) for Releasing Drawing/BOM

• Knowledge of Product life cycle Management using applications such as Teamcenter/ ENOVIA.

• Technical Leadership-Ability to independently drive customer meetings and Working with Global teams, defining priority, performing reviews, and working cross functional coordination with other departments engineers.
