• Mandatory:

• Ability to understand technical requirements for Functional and Detailed Schematics

• Good understanding in reading and interpreting the principal schematics to create Detailed wiring diagrams

• Conversant with various electrical equipment used for power and control, communication, interfacing circuits

• Able to understand design rules and EMC requirement

• Working level Expertise in Electrical software application such as Zuken E3 and AUTOCAD

• Working knowledge in understanding various electrical engineering standards, different types of units, types of cables and terminals, part catalogues from manufacturers and integrating them into the schematics

• Good understanding to create an entire electrical schematic from a reference project or using functional descriptions

• Desirable:

• Experience on Rolling stock (Rail) and standards for symbols, devices and components

• Working level expertise on Rolling stock (Rail) / Schematics Design

• Expert in various electrical sub-systems of Locomotive as well as Passenger trains, their functions, lay out of HV/LV cabinets, Cable ducts, Driver desks, Catenary system, Propulsion/Braking

• Good knowledge on cabling and ducting principles and overall mechanical – electrical integration in a rolling stock

• Proficient in electrical CAD tools such as Eplan / IGE+XAO, etc
