Job Description:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in firmware design and development.

• Understand and detail the design from existing firmware source code written both in C and ASM languages.

• Develop the firmware from the design for the new microcontroller and interfaces.

• Implement the firmware verification plans and test case preparations.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Expertise in the requirement analysis, design, development and testing of the firmware applications using in ASM and C/C++.

• Experience in refactoring and reverse engineering especially understanding the design from reading the code.

• Expertise in Boot loader, BIOS, device drivers, memory maps.

• Must developed any of the serial communication interfaces with 8/16 bit microcontrollers.

• Experience in Static Code Analysis and understand MISRA coding standards.

• Hands-on experience with developing ASM language projects.

• Experience in 8 bit microcontroller development especially PIC16 family.

• Experience in hardware peripheral development and supported board bring-up activities.

• Experience in unit testing of firmware and supporting HW team.

• Experience in JTAG debugging and IDE project build.

• Able to understand the hardware schematic files.

• Should be able to lead a team of 3 to 5 members and properly track the inter module tasks/discussions.

• Shall able to lead and track the activities.

Nice-to-have experience:

• Experience in developing Industrial products.

• Reverse engineering in Product design.
