Roles & Responsibilities:

• To obtain, study and synthesize background information including the geology, hydrogeology and existing borehole data.
• To manage, interpret, and integrate data associated with geology and hydrogeology.
• To write reports on investigations/findings in accordance with the scope and send for review.
• Database management using SharePoint other Document Control Databases.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Geology / Geophysics / Geosciences / Petroleum.
• 0 – 1 year of experience in oil & gas or relevant industry.
• To obtain, study and synthesize background information including the geology, hydrogeology and existing borehole data.
• Good knowledge of the subsurface attributes of ores, soil, minerals and other materials.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations.
• Knowledge on software such as Arc-GIS, IHS Kingdom, Petrel and Petra is an added advantage.
• Exposure to various file formats used by software for log, seismic and other well data.
• Good planning and prioritization skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in shifts.

Desired Skills:

• Exposure to Upstream facilities engineering activities.
• Experience on tools Arc-GIS, IHS Kingdom, Petra and Petrel.
• Knowledge and experience of MS office applications and SharePoint.
