Roles and Responsibilities

• Experience in Designing Embedded applications in Rail Domain

• In-depth understanding of Vehicle level requirements and ability to define / review Embedded Application software

• Thorough understanding of safety critical requirements for embedded design and implementation.

• Good understanding of the complete software life cycle

• Drive requirement gathering and alignment of information to solve design problems.

• Demonstrates a consistently high level of quality and personal integrity.

• Work in an agile scrum environment with both development and testing backlog.

• Able to coach people on analysis for improvements.

• Able to mentor people on requirements development, software design and implementation.

• Technically Responsible for the quality of the deliverables.

• Perform peer/Technical reviews of the deliverables.

• Works with program manager to support/review SOW

• Highlight Technical Risk

• Design and develop windows applications.

• Perform Requirement Management activities and manage task assignments in collaboration with stakeholders

Skills Required

• Desktop Development experience with C++ with Win SDK, MFC, Visual Studio 2008/2017/20

• Good programming skills in C / C++ for embedded applications is mandatory

• At least one protocol like TCP, UDP experience mandatory.

• Experience in SVN/Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence is essential

• Experience in Windows Platform, Operating System, Virtualization, basic Networking,

• Cross-compiling, Refactoring and porting to other libraries

• Porting between processor architectures

• Porting between operating systems (e.g. Windows Embedded Compact à Linux) or vice versa or Widows embedded to latest Windows version

• Possess strong troubleshooting and scripting

• Expertise in Window API calls

• Expertise in Networking / communication solutions for Windows 2003/2008/2007 applications

• Expertise in application and DLL assembly, Identifying and resolving issues related to application migration, Identifying and resolving OTS issues.

• Development experience in C++ /Visual Studio / Windows commands

• Expertise with creating application installer, OS installers, OS configuration scripts
