Sr. Specialist – Resource Management will be responsible for:
Role Type: Individual Contributor role, requiring the incumbent to strongly liaison with Talent Acquisition Team, Internal GTLT Managers, Operations Team and MIS team.
This position is key in managing, tracking, and reporting new hire HC by readiness stage. The responsibilities include planning for specific training tasks to ensure resource readiness within stipulated time frame. The role has two key segments..
The resource management function is required to work closely with Talent Acquisition and Business Operations team to ascertain the hiring numbers and accordingly work with the GTLT team to create and publish batch plans. The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring adherence to batch plan, record realignments and their impact on resource readiness timelines.
The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in resource planning by line of business, client site & project. S/he will be required to maintain skill matrix for GTLT resources and create HC requirement/deficit plan basis training workload. The role includes managing & tracking utilization, workload, available capacity and providing program manager with support on resource management issues and driving improvements in resource management process.
The candidate must possess strong project management, Headcount management and analysis skills. The candidate must have good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and strong hands-on knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI (good to have)
Responsibility :
New Hire Readiness & Tracking
· Liaison with Talent Acquisition and Business Operations team to ascertain the hiring numbers
· Create and publish batch plans with GTLT resource alignments
· Adjust plans at FTE level in case of any project/site realignment
· Track FTE level adherence to plan and readiness dates and report out
· Call out any risks proactively viz a viz project requirements
Provide project management support for the new hire onboarding, training process till the resource handover to Operations
Training Resource Capacity Management & Readiness
Assist in workforce planning basis workload analysis
Track GTLT hiring and training plan to ensure resource availability for aligned tasks by the required date
Liaison with internal teams for skill matrix mapping for all resources
Gap analysis and report out of deficit skills within GTLT and assist in cross training and development planning
Track resource utilization by LOB, location and provide recommendations on areas of opportunity
Provide program manager with support on resource management issues and driving improvements in resource management process
Technical Skills :
Work experience in resource management and project management
Experience in preparing excel and PowerPoint dashboards and including data analysis and interpretations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
