Responsible for recruiting predominantly in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia, as well as supporting Australia as needed. Delivers high quality candidates and advances the Rackspace brand across numerous markets and professional communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the Rackspace selection process. Performs full life cycle recruiting and maintains relations with hiring managers, candidates, and the community at-large. Requires a wide degree of creativity, business understanding, and personal organization.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for full life cycle recruitment across all departments (Technical Support, Service Delivery, Professional Services, Sales & Marketing and other teams as needed) from sourcing, screening and selection, coordinating interviews, to negotiation, offer and close
Develops and maintains working relationships with stakeholders, vendors and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility
Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
Leverages online recruiting resources to identify and recruit the very best candidates and participates in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies
Manages the engagement and relationship with recruitment agency partners as required
Provides complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about Rackspace, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectation- setting
Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, hiring manager’s interactions, and other recruiting activities
Develop a deep understanding of Rackspace and our culture and use this understanding to help candidates fully understand the opportunity
Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive
Effectively encourage and monitor all referrals from Rackers to maximize this source
All time to offer guidelines, job descriptions, person specifications and interview processes are agreed prior to the commencement of the recruitment process to ensure an effective and efficient process
Cost effective recruitment is achieved and maintained
Applicant quality, time to fill and quality of hire
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of professional Human Resources experience
A minimum of 4 years of experience focused only on recruiting and talent acquisition
Experience managing full lifecycle recruiting gained ideally within the IT industry across all Departments using direct sourcing methods (Networking, LinkedIn, Job-Boards, Internal Talent Pools) and the ability to identify the best talent
Must be able to quickly assimilate technical information and build recruiting solutions to the optimal balance of meeting business needs, remaining competitive in talent market, and operating within financial resource constraints
Basic project management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments across a broad technical skill set
Effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed and appropriately expressing ideas and thoughts
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive partnerships with Hiring Managers and Leaders with the ability to influence key stakeholders with the courage to challenge and set expectations
Creative approach to recruitment and ways to attract top quality candidates with the ability to present new recruiting concepts to Stakeholders
Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Solution orientated, able to solve complex recruitment problems and challenges
A drive for results, able to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed
Strong use of initiative, thinks ahead and can think and act independently
Demonstrated ability to consistently provide FANATICAL support and put the customer first
Process and data orientated, understands the importance of data within a talent acquisition function
Preferred
Solid background using direct sourcing strategies to identify and hire top technical sales talent to include Sales Reps (Acquisition/Business Development), Solution Architects, Presales Consultants, Professional Services
Experience working within a fast-paced technical industry.
Experience recruiting technical and sales roles
Previous experience recruiting and networking with cloud talent
Extensive experience managing full lifecycle recruiting gained within the IT industry
Strong experience of recruiting across Asia with a deep knowledge of the talent markets in region
