Rapido Cabs made its debut on May 2023, marking the commencement of its services in eight cities. Notably, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Delhi stand out as the primary cities for this initial launch. However, the ambitious plan includes an extensive expansion to encompass over 50 cities in the coming 12 months.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will be a part of the strong, highly collaborative in-house legal team where you will provide legal support on a wide range of corporate legal matters. This includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and vendor agreements, providing legal advice to stakeholders, and implementing robust corporate governance policies for the organization. You will also act as a key interface with vendors and third parties to address legal concerns, negotiate and protect the interests of the company.

Job Responsibilities:

Draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts including services, consulting, marketing, licensing, non-disclosure and other commercial and technology related agreements;

Advise the Company on various issues including statutes, government regulations and contractual obligations;

Draft and implement various terms and conditions, SOPs, policies, and processes;

Periodically preparing and updating the dashboard summary of the ongoing Contracts and status update and the way forward;

Ensure that contracts and proposals are properly entered into organizational and management databases and securely maintained;

Monitor critical contract obligations to assess and consider for modification, close-out, extension, or renewals;

Work with external legal counsels, advisors on a need basis;

Build organization capability in the contract management team. This includes managing contract life cycle- drafting, negotiating, and executing with relevant stakeholders;

Conduct legal workshops and make presentations to provide guidance and training on ensuring legal compliance to various business functions;

Negotiate commercial terms and conditions with customers and vendors.

Job Requirements:

LLB/ LLM degree from recognized university in India.

Willing to work in a fast-paced environment, with an experience of 6-8 years

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including an impeccable command over the English language.

Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask on several projects simultaneously.

Ability to manage and communicate with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
