Required Key Functions

Primary responsibility is to development of JS code.

Key Objectives:

Design (low level), Develop, unit test high quality JS code. Competencies Essential:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

GITHub or any other version control tool Proactive attitude to problem resolution.

Work on agile based projects.

Able to perform a detailed Impact analysis. Capable to perform code reviews and provide code to optimise performance of the application. Able to perform Estimation for the project. Able to understand wireframes and give suggestions for improvement of the same.

Responsibilities We are into a business to build great solutions using the latest technologies based around a Ruby & Ext JS architecture. The first project for the team will be mobilizing our core Policing solution to enable police officers to do their job without returning to the office. The team is currently 20 – 25 in size, but it will grow. You ll be working in a team that will showcase to the rest of Northgate Public Services new technologies and new ways of working. You will be a JS specialist working in this team.

Key responsibilities include :-

Communicate and collaborate effectively with the Business Analysts and Product Owners to resolve requirements gaps and conflicts. Develop high quality software. Create and execute comprehensive Unit Tests on developed software Work effectively in a dynamic Agile software development environment Promptly escalate issues which cause personal or team development to fall outside of agreed quality or timescale tolerances and to actively contribute to their resolution. Pro-actively suggest and implement agreed process improvements that enhance the performance, productivity and morale of the team. Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes that enhance the performance and quality of personal and team deliverables. Work flexibly and imaginatively in a changing and evolving project environment. Should be a good team player and should be able to mentor and train other team members Qualifications
