Experience and skills we are looking for:
Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in Linux installation and configuration.Must have experience with upgrading Linux systems and servers.Must have worked on Ubuntu, RHEL/CentOS in the areas of user, filesystem, network, security management, etcFamiliar with scripting languages like Shell/Python.Expertise in compilation, installation, configuration, upgrading and maintenance of common applications such as Apache, Nginx, MySQL, Redis HAProxy, Firewalls, etc.Expertise in VPN technologies using IPSec and/or OpenVPN.Expertise in monitoring tools like Nagios/Zabbix.Basic knowledge of gitlab and jenkins.Minimum 2 to 3 Years of experience working with public cloud environments like AWS
You will be responsible for:
Managing, coordinating, and implementing software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware.Proactively monitor system performance and capacity planning.Planning and performing schedules maintenance’s like server reboots, upgrades etc and making sure that all applications and services are running smoothly.Experience supporting day-today administration functions including user account management and script creation.Proactively work on AWS servers performance insights and upgrade.
