Summary

We are hiring a Business Analyst to join our Screening Product Management team. You will work alongside other business analysts and report directly to the Vice President of Product Management. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis through stakeholder & customer engagement, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing, while operating as a Product Owner supporting the software development framework. To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking, firsthand experience in integrating systems and data files, and be able to explain complex business concepts to technical stakeholders and non-technical stakeholders alike. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Analyst Responsibilities:

• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
• Evaluate integration options with new and existing accounts receivable systems, recommending the solution framework in conjunction with architectural evaluations.
• Breaking down Epics and Features into User Stories and reviewing results with product managers
• Leading grooming & estimation sessions with the product development team
• Managing backlog prioritization to deliver features based upon business need & weighted shortest job first analysis
• Contributing to Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective ceremonies
• Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest process and software development advancements to automate and modernize systems.
• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
• Performing requirements analysis.
• Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
• Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
• Working closely with clients, internal stakeholders, engineers, support agents, and operational & managerial staff.
• Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
• Ensuring solutions meet business needs, operational needs, and requirements.
• Performing user acceptance testing.
• Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
• Updating and maintaining procedures, product & technical specifications, customer facing API documentation, and release notes.
• Training resources on new software features and functionalities being released to customers.
• Serving as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders and users.
• Managing competing resources and priorities.
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Business Analyst Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in business or information systems or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or systems integrations related field.
• Experience in financial services is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Experience with SAFe Agile and Scrum is preferred.
• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
• Advanced technical skills.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• A track record of following through on commitments.

• Experience leading and developing top performing teams.
• A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
