Job Description

Global Program Manager – Strategic & Mid Market ISV Partners

• Review, update, and publish program process and governance documents for the latest strategic and mid market ISV partner program enhancements including documents like contracts, partner recruiting and onboarding guides, not-for-resale subscription ordering processes, co-sell, and deal registration procedures
• Engage other Red Hat teams like partner and sales operations, finance, and product teams along with regional partner sales leadership to ensure processes are adequate, accurate, and optimized
• Ensure backend operations support the program and work through internal stakeholders and systems like Salesforce.com (SFDC) and the Red Hat Partner Connect portal to ensure systems and data architecture and structure can support the scale and are efficient
• Communicate requested program enhancements for targeted partner set; serve as a project manager for any program enhancements
• Serve as the contact person for all Red Hat field and regional requests related to the programs and offerings which are focused on our strategic and mid market ISV partners
• Work with the Channel Marketing team to ensure that Red Hat s partner portal system is configured to manage content and privileges for the programs
• Help expand training and enablement offerings for targeted partner set
• Manage input into partner onboarding process for the program s participants
• Collaborate with the global partner marketing team and regional teams to establish the supporting materials and incentives that help achieve results for program s participants
• Ensure Red Hat s program maintains integrity and supports the delivery of the required financial results including revenue recognition
• Provide recommendations on improving competitive positioning of Red Hat offerings and programs within targeted partners
• Work closely with Red Hat s Product and Technologies (PnT) Architecture team in designing and refining various route programs and offerings

Required skills

• Bachelor s degree; MBA or postgraduate degree is a plus
• 10+ years of related IT industry experience preferably with an enterprise software company; ISV partner experience is a plus
• Proven record in helping develop a partner, distribution, or routes to market strategies
• Sales or marketing experience and an understanding of the different channel partner types, especially ISV partners
• Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; good presentation skills
• Process, planning, and project management skills
• Ability to synthesize data into clear actionable statements
• Demonstrated ability to see and communicate the big picture
• Self-motivated, passionate, innovative, collaborative, creative, and analytical
• Demonstrated ability to plan and set priorities and identify and resolve problems to produce measurable results
• Ability to take initiative to promote improvements for Red Hat and our partners
• Background in strategy and planning is a plus
• Knowledge of open source software is a plus
