RedHat Hiring for Senior Anaplan Developer at Pune, India Full Time

The Red Hat IT Enterprise Applications team is looking for a Senior Anaplan Developer who will serve as subject matter expert for the Anaplan Suite of tools to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will be responsible for Anaplan administration, configuration, deployment, user management, system support, and enhancement of the Anaplan toolset. You’ll need to have a proven ability to understand complex financial problems and provide solutions that are sound and clearly communicated. You’ll also need great communication skills with a global focus, as the core set of responsibilities are global in nature.

What you will do

• Understand the development and rollout of Anaplan applications, models, and process flows

• Provide recommendations and training to enhance planning, organization, and security based on best practices and Anaplan functionality

• Migrate models to production following proper change control processes

• Ensure compliance with all Business and IT controls

• Manage user access and license usage

• Proactively build working relationships with the Finance, Accounting, Business Finance, Sales Operations, and Sales teams business units to deliver, maintain and enhance Anaplan functionality

• Provide timely response and resolution of emergency production questions, issues, and defects

• Work with development team to create plan for build based on project requirements and best practices

• Develop and enhance models based on build plans and feedback from key stakeholders

• Assist development teams in unit, integration, and acceptance testing

• Facilitate business end-user training and help desk training as needed

• Lead, mentor, and assist software developers and engineers with technical Anaplan issues

• Act as point of contact between Red Hat and Anaplan customer representative to work through issues and keep development team informed of new features

What you will bring

• 5+ years of experience with Anaplan as an administrator or model builder; certifications are a plus

• 1+ year(s) of experience with Salesforce.com, Oracle ERP

• Excellent understanding of Anaplan integrations, including development, configuration, management

• Solid understanding of Google Docs, Sheets, Slides

• Skilled in Microsoft Office suite

• Finance and accounting or sales operations background

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science

• Curious with solid initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment

• Organization and prioritization skills; ability to multitask in a dynamic environment

• Functional understanding of budgeting and forecasting with a focus on sales

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical design

• Good analytic and debugging skills
