The SAP co-ordinator is responsible for ensuring materials are available to pick such that production targets and stock control requirements are met. Raw material handling and transportation must meet the requirements of site safety procedures, and consideration be given to COSHH assessments, safety symbol labelling, manual handling, defining the use of PPE etc. Manages the in-coming Pick Lists from Planning and generates requirements (via Transfer Orders) on SAP as “packages of work” for the L6 Operators. Expedites any shortages that arise with the appropriate department e.g. Planning for late deliveries or materials in QI. Assigns the generated requirements (“packages of work”) to pre-allocated L6 Operators via the DMS. Tracks the progress of “packages of work“ from start to finish (including status of shortages). Re-runs picking as necessary. Publishes status of current and imminent picks on daily reports to the assets via the Picklist tracker. Ensures materials are delivered to, or collected by, Manufacturing or R&D on time, as per their requested dates. Issues materials to “Non-GMP Batch” Process Orders (i.e. white-copy pick lists) once physically completed. Completes Vendor Returns on SAP and manages the warehouse activities that form part of this process. Generates regular cycle counts and investigates any anomalies. Runs KPIs on warehouse and integrated operations to track performance and investigate exceptions. Performs “housekeeping” as facilitated by the Warehouse Activity Monitor (LL01) in SAP. Resolves stock issues and reconciles labels relating to receipt, picking and dispensing activity. Runs regular expiry reports, so that expired/expiring stock is removed from the warehouse in a timely manner so that it cannot be picked by mistake. Checks the QC release reports and ensure that newly approved/released items are moved from the quarantine area into the main warehouse. Oversees the booking in of returned resins and liaises with QC ref the re allocation of their cycle update times. Runs SAP reports as required to assist the needs of the business including the asset’s management of stocks.
