Roles and Responsibilities

1. To receive Production and non production requirements ( PRs ) from Project Management & other internal customers

2. To give enquiries, receive & negotiate quotations, To make price comparisons and seek management approvals for initiating procurement of Raw material, Bought out, Indirect material & services in line with Project time.

3. To register new vendors / subcontractors in SAP as per procedure

4. To create Contract / PO in SAP against PR or Project management’s request for Direct material, Indirect material, Subcontracting, Services & capital items ( against management price approvals only )

5. To ensure that on time stores services are delivered to internal customers against their requests.

6. To ensure Material availability of Consumables and packing materials which are to be maintained on stock levels

7. To ensure safety work practices are followed in Stores

Desired Candidate Profile

• DME – Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 7 to 9 years of total experience in similar industry
• Good communication, People Management & Negotiation skills
• Knowledge – SAP working knowledge, Purchasing procedures, Taxation applicable in Purchasing, Stores Procedures & accounting
