Respicite provides custom development, customized in-house products and niche skill resources in IT domain to its clients. We are building our software portfolio for Climate Risk / Sustainability Solution Services along with one of our overseas partners. About Climate Risk: Environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) is an evaluation of a firm’s collective conscientiousness for social and environmental factors. Climate related risks are an important aspect. Physical risks are those arising from the climatic impact of higher average temperatures (such as the increased frequency and severity of extreme weather events), while transition risks are those arising from the changes in technology, markets, policy, regulation, and consumer sentiment which will result from our transition to net zero. The physical and transition risks could have material impacts on the value of companies and their assets. We are looking for an intern who can work with us on our ESG Portfolio. Principal Accountability Technical and business research for ESG, Climate Risk and Sustainability business cases, regulations. Develop techniques and expertise in sourcing Environmental, Governance and Social performance data of companies collect data for companies across multiple sectors from Sustainability Reports, Integrated Reports, UNGC – COP, Annual Reports, CSR Reports, among others Evaluate controversies and product related litigations of publicly traded companies globally. Use of IT technique in doing so/an eye for automation. Maintain high data quality standards with regular data quality checks Conduct research and communicate findings on industry trends, global & local regulations and frameworks in addition to ad hoc deep-dive research topics Liaising with the stake holders with small interactions. lead aspects of preparing the corporate sustainability report in accordance with accepted standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, etc.) Skills Requires strong work ethic, flexibility, excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills, including synthesizing research and concepts into actionable insights and investor-facing deliverables in a timely manner Ability to analyse data, identify trends and problems in the data, represent data in visual format Passion for Climate, ESG, sustainability, and impact investing, Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Word; proficiency in Excel Knowledge of Financial Services, Consulting or ESG and Sustainability is preferred Qualifications Financial education (degree) with data analysis domain. Aptitude and eagerness towards learning IT skills is a must. Gains: An understanding of ESG data, frameworks, reporting, and industry best practices Subject matter expertise in very high demand business domain Work experience in a professional work environment would be an advantage Work experience with highly experienced technical and business mentors located in global location.
