Job Description
Project Purchasing:
Manage procurement activities for platform, application projects – Electro-Mechanical Components and Sub-assemblies, includes target cost setting.
Responsible for achievement of quality, cost and delivery targets.
Prepare supplier selection – includes RFQ process, supplier evaluation, communication and participation in sourcing decisions.
Representative in PEP Process.
Interface with: Central Purchasing, material field related purchasing and quality department.
Ensure preventive quality planning (VQP) for project specific new parts and coordination of their release.
Coordinate RPP activities.
Change management for procured parts.
Requirement based travel – domestic and international
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering / Bachelor’s Degree – Electrical / Electronics
Practical commercial and project management experience.
Analytical and structural approach.
Work well independently, highly motivated, results oriented.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate
effectively with all levels of the organization, both internally and externally Strong organizational skills and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time, including following up on his/her actions
4-8 years’ experience with purchasing parts is preferred.
Ability to develop network in very complex company culture.
SAP, MS Office, SharePoint, Microsoft Team experience required.
