Job Description

Key Accountabilities

• Accounting oversight, support in financial closure report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Identify and drive process and data quality improvements, including the creation, simplifying of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools, data flow mapping.
• Use of SAP, SAP BW, reporting tools (HFM, VBM) and Business objects tools for data analysis and producing reports to be used for decision making.
• Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials

Requirements

Must Have:

• 3-5+ years of experience in Financial accounting, reporting, analysis, business finance etc
• Have working experience of preparing & reviewing statutory accounts
  • Preparation of stat adjustments
  • Preparation of financial schedules
• High proficiency in financial accounting, financial data analysis, reporting and modelling techniques
• Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
• Qualified professional accountant (CA, CWA, CIMA, etc) required
• Prior financial reporting experience
• Working experience in SAP FI
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills

Good to Have:

• Good business acumen
• Working knowledge of reporting tools (HFM, VBM, etc) and similar applications preferred
• Prior experience of working in a similar industry setup
