The role in a nutshell:

• This role will provide accounting assistance to management and operation staff and improvement to streamline the process, and will monitor various productivity and performance standards to achieve the targets. Accountable for the training, coaching, and development of the team

How you will make a difference:

• Provides accounting assistance to Management and operations staff; responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly accounts. This will include areas such as intercompany reconciliations, balance sheet recs, and preparing standard journals
• Constant review and improvement of processes to help streamline the GRP Finance
• Work collaboratively across and within the various SGWI departments such as finance & Operation
• Establish robust KPIs as part of the operational development.
• Establish and develop operational processes to maintain a lean operational model and drive efficiency.
• Recruit and manage the new resource in line with revenue growth targets.
• Conducting performance appraisal for the team
• Daily management activities include but are not limited to resource management, recruitment, and holiday planning.
• Lead daily activities of the team to ensure that all work is completed according to schedule deadlines, with attention to quality standards, priorities, and overall goals for the department
• Monitor various productivity and performance standards to ensure that established levels are achieved, especially during critical activity periods
• Accountable for the adherence of standard business processes and for ensuring utilization of appropriate security of data procedures by team members.
• Provide direct feedback to team members on performance, development, and or areas of opportunities to enhance team members and client experience
• Accountable for formal line management of the team, ensuring that appropriate individual
• goals are set, quarterly assessments complete, reviewed, and delivered following Safeguard Global’s policy
• Accountable for the training, coaching, and development of the team, working with leadership to coordinate any additional training as needed
• Recommend process improvements to line Managers/Quality Assurance and assist in the implementation of the process improvements as needed
