Job Description:
GTS Accountant
- Assist with accounts receivables and the aging report distribution
- Ensure cash receipts are applied in a timely manner and resolve discrepancies
- Follow up with client owners to drive collections process in a timely and professional manner
- Generate monthly personal production reports used for calculating commissions and quarterly bonuses and ensure they are complete and accurate
- Aggregate team production goals and track to personal production on a monthly basis
- Identify areas to continuously improve production reports, billing reports and other reporting through leveraging excel and other tools
- Reconcile monthly billings reports with financial statements
- Review commission statements for accuracy
- Review closing reports for accuracy and follow up with client owners on an as needed basis
- Ensure closing reports adjustments and discrepancies are reflected in billings prior to invoicing
- Provide new clients with W9 and payment instructions along with their first invoice
- Assist with generating monthly and quarterly operating reports
- Support company president with monthly and annual budget process
- Aggregate proposed budget figures in a cohesive manner
- Distribute weekly time card report to team, follow up with client owners for follow up and drive urgency to ensure temp. payroll is processed in a timely manner
- Identify areas for process improvement and increase streamlining
- Other ad hoc projects as needed to support the team and their strategic objectives
