The prime responsibility of National Sales Manager is to maintain and expand relationships with strategically important clients. Assigned to major clients, the National Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives. The National Sales Manager establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives of the company.Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a specified period.Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.Develop and implement a strategy to maintain and increase business with each account (existing and potential) in sales territoryAchieves strategic customer objectives defined by management.Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet companys standards.Create and accept new challenges. Candidate should be Graduate/Post Graduate with 8-10 years experience in similar capacity in Liner Shipping / Freight Forwarding and a proven track record in dealing with Shippers/Intermediaries and leading corporates Strong sales experience in B2B business.Understanding of Sales Performance matrix.Excellent communication, negotiation skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, leadership qualities and team building abilities will be the core strength of the ideal incumbent.
