With a global network of partners, the operations will focus on more than 10 countries in Europe, North and Latin America, and APAC.
Possible working locations for this role are in most SAP Fioneer countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK, Canada, US, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, Australia, India, Singapore) combined with a willingness to travel.
Tasks
We are looking for a highly motivated (SENIOR) TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT (F/M/D) who supports our customers’ transformation projects, in the Banking (Retail Banking, Commercial Lending, Banking Management) or Insurance Industry (P&C, Life and Insurance Management). You will partner with clients to deliver SAP platform programs and get help drive the broader aspects of our client’s transformation journeys including the definition of IT-Governance, IT Strategies, IT-Architecture, and transformation roadmaps, You will be advising our clients on the best options to integrate SAP technologies with the clients broader IT infrastructures and be involved in evaluation and application of innovative technology trends.
In addition to customer projects, you will help build out our global practice and improve the existing SAP Fioneer Solutions. Ideal candidates should have proven experience in client projects as well as some practice development activities such as developing reusable assets, mentoring and developing others, and working closely with partners in co-led engagements.

• Drive technology consulting by translating customer business processes into IT solutions, including quality assurance
• Lead SAP technical implementation consulting (Design, Implementation and Testing) of SAP solutions in agile work environments
• Drive Quality assurance, Testing and Production Readiness
• Help position disruptive IT innovations
• Be responsible for end-to-end solution design across all relevant solutions (On-Premise, Cloud and Hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies
• Lead projects, define deliverables and workplans for sub-teams
• Provide advice and option analysis to our customers
• Deliver outcomes in business-critical application setups
• Provide innovative ideas and high-quality results
• Ensure that goals and milestones are met and approved budgets are managed appropriately
• Manage escalation appropriately
• Track single project budget line
• Build good relationships with key decision-makers in customer & partner organization
• The role may include formal team lead or supervisory responsibilities

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent work experience in computer engineering
• Deep knowledge of some of the following areas Bank/Insurance Financial Management (Office of the CFO, IFRS, GL), Commercial Lending, Retail Banking or Core Insurance
• Has a minimum of seven years experience in technology projects and/or engagements
• Has a minimum of 5 years years’ experience in SAP technology consulting in Banking or Insurance
• Broad and deep expertise across multiple SAP and non-SAP technologies
• Hands-on technical skills in some of the following
• SAP programming (ABAP, Java, Fiori)
• SAP integration technologies (SAP BTP, RFC, PI/PO, Restful …)
• Database technologies (BW, SAP Hana, SQL, data schemas…)
• Open Source Development skills (C#, Java, Python, …)
• Cloud Native frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, KAFKA..)
• Implementation experience (configuration & technical customization) of SAP FSI Core Systems
• Core Banking: Loans, deposits, payments, treasury OR
• Core Insurance: Policy, Claims, Re-insurance, PQM, FS-CD OR
• Finance Risk: S/4 Hana Finance, FPSL, PaPM
• Deep experience in technical planning, implementation and configuration
• Expert in HANA (Installation/Configuration/Migration/Optimization)
• Comprehensive knowledge of S/4HANA architectures and S/4related migration paths and tools
• Managerial Experience
• Takes responsibility from time to time as a sub-project lead and/or team lead
• Acts as a coach for colleagues and/or customers and partners
• Shows business acumen and takes overarching responsibilities for topic areas internally and/or externally
• Good C-Level communication & presentation skills
• Positive, customer-focused interpersonal skills and attitude
• Excellent, accurate, and effective oral and written communication skills in English
