What you’ll do:

As part of AIS, you will be exposed to SAPs biggest customers, and you will support them with technical expertise in the role of Developer. The primary objective is to establish you as an expert with product ownership in the role of development support engineer at AIS. You will have to build excellent product knowledge of product area you are assigned to as well as expertise in ABAP & Object-Oriented concepts.

Your focus will be to solve the issues reported by customer as well as contribute towards the development of the product. This would require extensive programming approach and ability to grasp the product knowledge.

The position responsibility includes:

• Provide high-quality solutions to complex problem faced by SAP customers

• Resolve customer reported issues in a timely manner

• Take ownership of work and operate in a globally distributed organization

• Proactiveness to take up additional/new topics

• Articulate technical information clearly for customers and within our organization

• Prioritize tasks, develop detailed designs with estimated efforts and drive topics to completion

• Innovative mindset and optimization of support activities

• Contribute to SAPs success story in both On-premise and in cloud

What you bring:

• Bachelor/Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field from a top university

• 5 to 7 years of overall software development experience

• Must have strong knowledge of ABAP programming language with good understanding of Objected Oriented Concepts

• Experience in SAP Technology such as SAP NetWeaver

• UI skills SAP UI5, Fiori, JavaScript would be plus point

• Exposure to S/4 HANA would be beneficial

• The attitude to work in a Development and Maintenance role, have good analytical and problem-solving skills, team player, have ability to work under pressure, know how to handle critical customer situations, high on performance and learning orientation

• High level of commitment towards ownership of product/topic will be key for the success
