THE ROLE (Responsibilities)
Designing, maintaining and streamlining of continuous Delivery solutions for end-to-end CICD pipeline setup of one click build deployments.
Automate testing and deploying releases to multiple environments.
Promote a DevOps culture through building relationships with Development and Operations and driving enhancements to the end-to-end release process.
Ensure continuous availability of various tools supporting SCM and Release Management including Source Control, Continuous Integration, and Change Management.
Maintaining source control branches and performing integrations with merge conflicts.
Creating and maintaining documentation of the release process.
Ensure all security findings are brought to closure and security compliant.
Collaborate with Operations and Infrastructure, Database engineers, cybersecurity, and Middleware engineers to remediate security vulnerabilities.
Working closely with the development team to integrate new deployment processes and strategies to meet our feature requirements.
Network across teams, learn best practices and drive continuous improvement.
ROLE REQUIREMENT
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Computer Engineering.
2-3 years experience in Software engineering, tools engineering and/or configuration management.
Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures & algorithms.
Mandatory:
Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment ( Jenkins Pipelines/Argo CD).
Extensive experience in Unix/Linux administration and Bash/Shell Scripting.
Advanced/Intermediate level expertise in one or more scripting languages, such as Groovy, Python, JavaScript.
Expertise in NPM and Maven , and the ability to troubleshoot related issues for Java based projects.
Experience with code quality and security tools like SonarQube, Checkmarks, WhiteSource, VOVM and Black duck.
Experience with Containers ( Docker & Kubernetes ) in Private or Public Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry (AWS & Cloud Foundry would be preferred).
Experience with Repository Management systems like Artifactory .
GIT experience highly desired and experience in SCM (Source Control Management) tools.
Beneficial
Experience with Go-Lang would be a plus.
Experience with Configuration Management automation tools like Chef & Ansible
Experience with Java web environments (JBoss / Tomcat) with sound knowledge of Webservers, Application Servers, Client-Server Architectures.
Experience with different authentication methods SSO, OAuth 2.0, SAML2 etc.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, using CloudFormation, Terraform, or other tools would be desirable.
Experience with Helm, Grafana would be desirable.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Karate, Cucumber, Ruby, Selenium etc.
Familiarity with DevOps model for cloud development & continuous delivery.
Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Prometheus and Nagios or any other monitoring tools/process.
Experience with Repository Management systems like Artifactory .
